A cold afternoon after the sun had dipped behind the mountains created this ethereal perspective.
An aggressive (hungry) Bald Eagle chased another eagle off what remains of this salmon. The heads are often all that is left after the feast has subsided, so for those still hungry, they are a prize.
Backyard birding has it's benefits. I think this was shot out our kitchen window one morning before work!
